Resources for healthcare issues particularly pertinent to children and youth, and their caregivers, guardians and advocates, are under way for this section.

Texas CASA and One Voice Texas are supporting Senate Bill 830 to create a State ombudsman for children and youth in foster care. The bill would empower children and youth in State care to report concerns about their placements and rights violations, ensuring these issues are addressed with the highest level of transparency and accountability. Read more here.
